The WKT-LC200 falling weight impact tester performs impact tests on non-metallic products to evaluate impact resistance and assess material quality. It supports both the pass/fail method and the staircase method. Using single-chip microcomputer control, it allows preset impact height, automatic secondary-impact prevention, automatic hammer lifting to the preset height, and real-time height display. Highly reliable and accurate, it meets the requirements of professional standard ZBN 72026-90 and standards GB/T 18102-2007 and GB/T 14153-2002 (technical conditions for falling weight impact testers).
Overview
The WKT-LC200 falling weight impact tester performs impact tests on non-metallic products to evaluate impact resistance and assess material quality. It supports both the pass/fail method and the staircase method. Using single-chip microcomputer control, it allows preset impact height, automatic secondary-impact prevention, automatic hammer lifting to the preset height, and real-time height display. Highly reliable and accurate, it meets the requirements of professional standard ZBN 72026-90 and standards GB/T 18102-2007 and GB/T 14153-2002 (technical conditions for falling weight impact testers).
1. The tester mainly consists of a worktable, secondary-impact prevention mechanism, support tube, guide tube, hammer, V-block with automatic hammer-release mechanism, reducer, electrical control box and base.
2. Working principle: A hammer-holding fixture is installed inside the guide tube. Driven by the motor and gearbox, the fixture lifts the hammer; when the hammer automatically rises to the required height, pressing the release switch lets it fall freely inside the guide tube and strike the specimen, completing the test. Impact energy is calculated from the hammer mass and impact height. If the specimen does not break and the hammer rebounds, a photoelectric signal triggers the secondary-impact prevention mechanism to instantly catch the rebounding hammer. The V-block holding the specimen is mounted below the worktable; two screws on either side, driven by a handwheel, raise and lower the V-block.
The WKT-LC200 falling weight impact tester determines the external impact resistance of various pipes (PVC-U water supply pipes, drainage pipes, low-pressure water supply pipes, low-pressure water conveyance pipes, core-layer foamed pipes, double-wall corrugated pipes, PE water supply pipes) and sheets, and is also suitable for rigid plastic sheets. The product complies with industry standard JB/T 9389 and national standards GB/T 14152, GB/T 14153 and GB/T 6112, and also meets test-method standards including GB/T 5836, GB/T 10002.1, GB/T 10002.3, GB/T 13664, GB/T 16800 and GB/T 18477.
