The halogen moisture analyzer works on the thermogravimetric principle using a halogen lamp. As a rapid moisture testing instrument that is easy to operate and accurate, it is widely used in laboratories and production in pharmaceuticals, feed, rapeseed, seeds, dehydrated vegetables, tobacco, tea, food, meat, textiles, chemicals, agriculture and forestry, papermaking, plastics, rubber, wood flour, textile raw materials, and more. Its simple operation is as follows:
1. Connect the power and place the analyzer on a stable workbench.
2. Place an empty sample pan on the instrument and press "Tare".
3. Take an appropriate amount of sample with a lab spatula and spread it evenly on the pan.
4. Press "Start"—the moisture content is displayed within a few minutes.
1. Lift and lower the cover of the halogen moisture analyzer gently; for accurate results, use a sample mass of at least 1.5 g.
2. Press the keys with a fingertip—never with fingernails or sharp objects.
3. Clean the sample pan before loading samples, and always use the pan holder to avoid burns from the hot pan. When the analyzer is on standby, no preheating is needed.
4. Before use, check that the mains voltage matches the analyzer's requirements and that the socket and plug are undamaged; do not use the instrument if damaged. At the end of the day or during long idle periods, switch off the main power—or if there is no main switch, unplug and place the plug beside the instrument.
