Rapid Moisture Analyzer FAQ

Common problems include:

1. Measurement takes too long: the shutdown mode may be unsuitable. Try switching to an appropriate one.

2. Black screen after power-on: no voltage; power cord not connected; tripped breaker; instrument damage.

3. No heating at test start: the drying unit may have overheated, activating thermal overload protection (bimetal sensor shuts off heating). Contact your supplier.

4. Blank display after power-on: no voltage; power cord not connected; tripped breaker; instrument damage.

5. Error 1 without a sample: caused by a sample under 1 gram. For accuracy, the instrument defaults to at least one gram.

6. No heating at test start: the drying unit may overheat, activating thermal overload protection (bimetal sensor shuts off heating). Contact your supplier.

7. Poor repeatability. Causes: 1. Non-uniform samples. 2. Drying time too short—extend it or choose 'weight loss per unit time'. 3. Sample not fully dry (surface skinning)—try quartz sand. 4. Temperature too high or oxidation—lower it. 5. Splattering—clean the protective glass. 6. Dirt-etched glass blocking heat—clean it. 7. Contaminated temperature sensor—clean it. 8. Unstable console—use a sturdy one. 9. Unstable environment (vibration, etc.).
