As a moisture testing instrument, the online moisture analyzer is fast and convenient. Compared with the traditional oven-drying standard method for meat moisture, this method completes testing easily within a minute, so it is increasingly used to detect water-injected food. Online moisture analyzers apply to the following fields:
Chemicals
Moisture measurement can be used for control analysis in industrial production and moisture testing of agricultural and industrial products; moisture analysis requires only a few microliters of sample solution in the laboratory. In the chemical field, the moisture meter earns its place with fast, convenient measurement and accurate data. This high-performance digital moisture analyzer measures the water content of various alkali-reactive dyes, chemical mineral raw materials, organic and inorganic chemical raw materials, resins, dyes, laundry powders, additives, solutions and other powders, granules and liquids.
Food
Water has a major impact on food quality. As an indispensable instrument in food testing, the moisture analyzer's importance is self-evident. In recent years, water-injected meat incidents have threatened public health. To ensure people can eat "safe meat", food and drug regulators have taken active measures to crack down hard on water-injected pork, beef and mutton.
Common Faults of Online Moisture Analyzers:
1. Measurement takes too long: Excessive measurement time may relate to instrument parameter settings. Sometimes the instrument fails to heat after starting a test—this may be because the drying unit has overheated and the instrument's dual overheat protection has activated. If the unit still does not recover after the heating unit is turned off, contact the manufacturer for assistance.
2. Freezing: If the instrument fails to power on, inspect it to determine whether it is damaged. If not, check the operating conditions: whether the power cord is connected, whether the voltage is too high or too low, whether the fuse has blown, or whether the ambient temperature is too low. With systematic troubleshooting you will find the cause and can then take targeted measures.
3. Poor repeatability: Causes of poor repeatability are complex and varied. Generally, an unstable worktable or a contaminated or damaged temperature sensor will degrade repeatability—stabilizing the worktable and cleaning or replacing the temperature sensor usually solves it. Environment and settings also matter: an unstable external environment, too high a drying temperature, sample oxidation, non-standard sampling volume or improper handling can all be causes. Lowering the drying temperature and extending the drying time can help.
