Recently, our VM-S series, VM-Q series, WKT-E series, DHS series and VM-TH series halogen moisture analyzers were awarded EU CE certification, demonstrating that our products meet advanced standards in quality and safety.

What Is CE Certification

CE certification is the passport for products to enter the EU and European trade area markets. Any product entering the EU or European trade area must undergo CE certification and bear the CE mark. CE certification indicates that a product meets the safety requirements stipulated by EU directives; products bearing the CE mark face reduced sales risks in the European market. Please note in particular that CE certification must be obtained through a notified body authorized by the EU.

The "CE" mark is a safety certification mark, regarded as the manufacturer's passport to open and enter the European market. CE stands for European Conformity (CONFORMITE EUROPEENNE). Any product bearing the "CE" mark can be sold within EU Member States without having to meet the requirements of each individual member state, thus achieving the free circulation of goods within the EU Member States. In the EU market, the "CE" mark is a mandatory certification mark. Whether products are manufactured by enterprises within the EU or by other countries, to circulate freely in the EU market they must bear the "CE" mark, indicating compliance with the essential requirements of the EU "New Approach to Technical Harmonization and Standardization" directives. This is a mandatory requirement imposed on products by EU law.

CE certification constitutes the "essential requirements" at the core of European directives — that is, it is limited to basic safety requirements ensuring that products do not endanger the safety of humans, animals, and goods, rather than general quality requirements. Harmonized directives only specify essential requirements; general directive requirements are the task of standards.
