The WKT-400C melt flow indexer (melt indexer) integrates the mass-based (MFR) and volume-based (MVR) methods in one instrument, with push-button operation and an integrated manual/automatic cutting design. Designed and manufactured to authoritative standards, it determines the melt flow rate (MFR and MVR) of various plastics and resins in the viscous flow state. It is suitable for engineering plastics with high melting temperatures such as polycarbonate, polyarylsulfone, fluoroplastics and nylon, as well as plastics with lower melting temperatures such as polyethylene (PE), polystyrene (PS), polypropylene (PP), ABS resin, polyoxymethylene (POM) and polycarbonate (PC) resin. It is widely used in plastics production, plastic products, petrochemicals and other industries, as well as in universities, research institutes and commodity inspection departments.
