The customer purchased a VicoMeter dew point meter. The VicoMeter gas trace moisture analyzer employs brand-new digital processing technology and is a classic of the new generation of portable temperature-humidity, dew point, and trace moisture instruments. The advantages of digital technology are clear: digital signal processing and transmission guarantee high precision and reliability, and signal attenuation or interference in the transmission cable does not affect measurement accuracy. Calibration data are stored in the probe itself, so when the measuring environment changes and a different probe is required, the meter needs no recalibration — simply swapping in another probe type adapts it to a different application. With a wide variety of probes and flexible combinations, one is sure to meet your needs.

The product is widely used in power plants, metallurgy, research, health quarantine, grain storage, medical devices, environmental testing, comparison calibration, papermaking, and textiles, and is especially suitable for measuring all kinds of acidic and alkaline gases, unaffected by hydrogen, SF6, carbon dioxide, methane, carbon monoxide, and oxygen. Built around a high-performance humidity sensor, the WKT-AFX2017 precision dew point meter delivers true, reliable sampled data. VicoMeter at the Customer Site

Because the customer's workshop was off-limits for confidentiality reasons, the demonstration and explanation took place in the customer's laboratory using nitrogen: the nitrogen regulator's output pressure was set to 1 bar, the line was connected directly to the instrument's gas inlet, and a tube on the outlet vented the nitrogen into the room (nitrogen is non-toxic). After a stabilization period, the instrument read 6 ppm — essentially matching the customer's third-party test result, and the customer acknowledged the instrument's accuracy.
