The customer purchased the VicoMeter WKT-R-50ZS online near-infrared (NIR) moisture analyzer. The VicoMeter WKT-R-50ZS online near-infrared moisture analyzer is used in all industries that require rapid moisture determination, and can perform online testing of chemical raw materials, grains and cereals, wood chips, and other materials. Because near-infrared light undergoes multiple reflections, refractions, diffraction, and absorption inside the sample, the near-infrared spectrum carries rich structural and compositional information of the sample during this series of processes, and each substance has characteristic absorption.

WKT-R-50ZS Online NIR Moisture Analyzer

The WKT-R-50ZS online NIR analyzer serves industries needing rapid moisture determination, testing chemical raw materials, grain, wood shavings, and more online. NIR spectroscopy qualitatively and quantitatively analyzes organics: specific wavelengths pass through lens, filter wheel, and mirror onto the material; absorbed and scattered light is focused onto the NIR sensor, whose processor feeds reference and measurement signals to the host for rapid moisture display.

VicoMeter at the Customer Site

This was the customer's first WKT-R-50ZS purchase. Installation was confirmed beforehand via WeChat video and photos, with the engineer repeatedly verifying that material at the chosen position would flow continuously—as the customer assured.

On arrival, electrical renovation delayed commissioning to the next day, when the engineer found the pre-selected location could not maintain continuous flow. After touring the line with the customer's technician, one marginally suitable spot was found; installed and commissioned there, the instrument ran stably to the customer's satisfaction.

Qiqihar Yueyang Hengye Food Co., Ltd. is a subsidiary of Xinglongken Group. Established in July 2020 in the Meilisi Industrial Park of Qiqihar National High-Tech Zone, the company mainly produces and sells organic steam-flaked corn, barley, corn flour and other feed products, as well as deep-processed organic grain products. With a total investment of RMB 160 million, the factory covers an area of 40,000 square meters and is being built in two phases. It can produce 150,000 tons of steam-flaked corn, 50,000 tons of corn flour, and 40,000 tons of other coarse cereal foods and deep-processed coarse cereal products per year.
